Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness. Palliative Care Unite of our hospital is located in. With a 16-bed capacity, our Pallative Care Unit includes 1 medical specialist (general surgeon) and 10 registered nurses, 7 clinic support staff and other specialists who work together with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. Our main goal for palliative care is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.
